2K Games has announced today that the Sinclair Solutions Tester Pack downloadable content for Bioshock 2 will be available Thursday, March 11 worldwide. The pack is priced at 400 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live Marketplace & Games for Windows LIVE Marketplace and $4.99 on Playstation Network.

 The Sinclair Solutions Tester Pack includes new customization features that let the player further develop their multiplayer character and provide a deeper multiplayer experience.

The pack includes:

• Rank increase to level 50 with Rank Rewards
• New playable characters - Louie McGraff and Oscar Calraca
• 20 new trials*
• A third weapon upgrade for each weapon
• Five additional masks

*Some items are only available after a player achieves a rank of 41 or higher.

The Sinclair Solutions Tester pack is the first of several planned downloadable content packages. 2K Games claim announcements regarding additional Bioshock 2 DLC that will extend single player and multiplayer experiences will be made in the coming weeks.

Since its release, 2K Games has shipped (sent to retailers, not sold at retailers) over three million copies of Bioshock 2. In comparison, Bioshock has sold four million copies since its August 2007 release.
